"The Christophers" is a dark comedy about a once-celebrated, aging London artist whose estranged, greedy children hire a young, technically brilliant art forger to secretly complete his legendary unfinished canvases so they can cash in on a fortune after his death. The Wall Street Journal writes, "Ian McKellen delivers yet another marvelous late-career highlight. Intimidating and brilliant, his Julian Sklar is by turns amusingly viperish and not quite successful at concealing the softness of age," while the New York times adds, "I have rarely enjoyed watching two actors’ rapport the way I loved watching McKellen and Coel; it could have gone on forever and not been long enough." Admission is Free for ISU students, $2 for ISU staff and $3 for the public.
